June 7th Tuesday, 4:43 PM

So, another good day. Linda walked, with help, outside for a short distance and was able to sit, briefly, at the computer and write a few notes to her kids. All is going well but very slowly. The wound looks good and the fluid coming from the wound is reduced so all appears to be going as planned. Thanks, to all of you following the blog and writing notes as it makes a difference. John

    Our weather here in the Alexander Valley has been perfect for outside enjoyment...not so beastly hot as it usually is in July. I am happy that you are able to take in some good healing sunshine. With care, Julie

    Hello: I was glad to hear that you are healing well. I can tell the slow progress and being away from home is getting you down. We are all out here praying and keeping good thoughts that soon you will be home where you can continue to heal. I was picked for jury duty inspite of all my protests. It leaves our office in a bind as PJs son will be here tomorrow to visit for four days before he is shipped to Afghanistan. I have been filling in after jury duty at the switchboard every day so my day does not begin here at my desk until 2:00pm. The actual trial begins tomorrow and is suppose to last 4 weeks so our office may end up empty for awhile, at least in the mornings. Paulette will be off while Garette is here and April will be having her baby soon at which time Paulette will be off for two weeks. I am hoping to take the last week in August off but with this trial I don't really know if I will get any vacation at all. Judi is still waiting for the legislators to do something with the budget. She doesn't know if she will have a job when they get done. The money they want to cut from the budget is the same money that pays her salary. Cindi is busy enjoying her summer. They are taking off tomorrow to go up to Oregon and check out the colleges. After that they head for Europe. They are all getting very excited. I better get to work. We love you, Linda...get well!!!!
