Update June 12th 9:05 PM
Hi folks; Another good day. Linda, according to her medicos, is ahead of most people in her recovery. She briefly sat up in a chair today and ate a little broth. She remains very tired and, at 8:30, asked to sleep. As we left ,she said she just really needed sleep, given her poor sleep last night. So, overall, things are progressing well. She is able to speak a little bit, lifts a water glass and tracks all conversations well. Thank you, to the McCutchans for the beautiful flowers. I'll keep them in the hotel room with me until she is allowed to have flowers in her room. I think, in a couple days, she will be moved to a room where she can have them. Thank you, to all, for the good thoughts, prayer and positive healing energy sent Linda's way. John, Emma and Mandy

Glad everything is going so well. Much love from Louise
ReplyDeleteGlad Linda is coming along better than anticipated; why does that not surprise us? Look at the support system she has in place!! Good news re. Mandy's surgery and upcoming PT. Your FBUSD friends, and especially from Dana Gray, send prayers, strong healing thoughts, and best wishes for Linda's recovery to go more smoothly than expected as well. Our thoughts are with Linda, who's doing the hard work, and also with John, Emma, and Mandy who are doing the hard support staff work-but then, John has always been tops at that!! With this fabulous team in place, we know Linda's in capable hands! We can't wait to hear she's walking out of that place!!!
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs to you all. So glad to hear Linda is doing well - what a champ!! Love you, Meaghen
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that things are going well, even better than expected. Greetings from the desert rainforest of Boise Idaho. Ann
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that every day brings you closer to going home! Iknow it can be difficult to get sleep in the hospital; so good to have family there watching over you. Sending healing energy @ Luv, Gina
