Update June 22, Monday 12:21
Hello; Linda spent a night with lots of interuptions from nurses and her doctors. They repacked the site twice more. She has no temperature and her white blood cell count is down, so the meds are working on the infection. She is sleeping now and I hope she is refreshed after some sleep. She enjoyed some cards sent her way and I read the comments and e-mails to her. I'll report late tonight as to her progress, but, for now, I'm encouraged by her good response to the meds. John

Keep telling that body to heal so you can come home and heal here at home. We have lovely convalescing weather here with another sunny day today...2 in a row. The wind is blowing but it is still lovely outside. We look forward to seeing your smiling face. PS to John: Happy Father's Day belated. Kathy
ReplyDeletehey, so good to catch up with Linda's progress. She is one of the bravest people I know. I suppose one has only 2 choices in that situation and she chose the same one I would, but, I would exhibit considerable whining and gnashing of teeth. We are waiting with baited breath (don't know if that means wormy or what!) the arrival of Margaret back in the country. She will be flying in from london on july 1 st and we're very excited. Harris leaves on the 29 th of june for his 8 week work/cruise......and we won't see him again until just before his new semester starts.....keep improving Linda....you're such a generous and beautiful spirit, I know the world has need of your energy thanks for the updates love mary jane
